Continuous casting Machine (CCM)

The continuous casting machine solidifies the liquid steel in the form of billets for the production of steel bars.
The principle of continuous casting is to solidify the liquid steel continuously poured into a mold to make billets. These billets are cut by automated torch cutting machines at a length of 12 meters or any other required. The regular section of billets is 180 mm. The billets are sent still hot to the rolling stage in order to optimize the efficiency and benefit from an energy saving or air cooled on a cooling mat to be stored or transported to other rolling mills.
