Reinforcing Steel Bars

The reinforcing steel bars are used in construction sector to reinforce concrete structures. The ribs ensure perfect adhesion with the concrete. They are also used for making chain links and welded meshes. The size of reinforcing steel bars range from 8 to 32 mm for a length from 6 m to 18 m.


The reinforcing steel bars (rebars) are used in reinforced concrete constructions to strengthen the concrete structures under tension. The ribs on the steel bars provide perfect adherence with concrete, allowing the concrete and the rebars to move together. The bars can be cut and bent to the desired size.

  • Tests

    The tests, measurements and controls specified in the standards are carried out and evaluated at every stage of productions. Mill test certificates are presented to the customers after each shipment.

  • Marking

    TOS mark or the marking specified in the international standards are put on the rebars, which indicates that the product is produced by Tosyalı Algeria.

  • Packaging

    The rebars are packaged in bundles of 2 tons, tied by 7 mm wires at 5 points and the rebars in coils are packaged in coils of 2 tons, tied by 7 mm wires at 4 points to ensure best handling.

  • Labeling

    Each bundles that is produced and tested and approved is labelled with plastic labels, which ensure the traceability of the product.
